Purser (they/he) is pushing folk-rock forward in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Hailed by Tuned Up Magazine as “an emerging force,” singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bobbie Purser is making a name for himself by marrying masterful folk storytelling with soaring alt-rock soundscapes.

Within just three years of regularly performing, Purser earned a beloved place in the vibrant Nashville DIY scene, cultivated a rapidly growing fanbase, and put countless iconic venues under their belt. Purser’s warmth and passion onstage are undeniable, silencing packed rooms with what Music Neighbors calls their “hypnotically beautiful” sound.

In 2024, Purser was selected for Keychange U.S., an artist development program offering mentorship, networking, and showcase opportunities for 25 women and gender-expansive artists and innovators from around the country.

Purser’s recent featured performances include Nashville Pride, Sofar Sounds’ Best of the Listening Room, opening for Olive Klug, and Jake Wesley Rogers’ Peace, Love, and Pluto Tour.
